Nattou is fermented soy beans, which is really stinky ….

But I love it a lot .

stinky yummy food ever !!

this is the one which i miss most as I’m abroad.

It is like my soul food.

 

Nattou fungi  has natural antibiotic substance.

actually Japanese people are used to eat Nattou as antibiotics.

 

To make Nattou ,

you just put rice straws in cooked soy beans in a container

or

if you have good access to  straws, make a bag with straws like photos above ,and  put soybeans in it .

(this is the traditional way.)

then

keep it warm over night.

 

Nottou fungi lives on a straw.

according to my friend , just one straw is enough to make it happen.

yes, you can make ONE STRAW REVOLUTION happen at  your kitchen.
